Outdoor Learning

We are constantly improving our outdoor learning environment to improve the education of our children. Children and staff are actively involved in planting and growing vegetables and flowers. Our outdoor facilities will allow numerous hands on activities that will help enforce and enrich the curriculum with direct links to healthy eating, healthy lifestyle, cooking and science to name but a few.

We have been working on the RHS Campaign for School Gardening. This aims to encourage and support schools to develop and actively use a school garden. A new RHS report states school gardening boosts child development; teaches life skills and makes kids healthier and happier.

We have currently achieved level 3 out of 5 towards the campaign. The certificates can see seen by selecting the images below.

We have been busy growing lots of fruits, vegetables, flowers and trees.
