St Meriadoc Nursery and Infant School in Camborne is a Church of England Academy with a very close working relationship with the local Diocese. We regularly attend church and local clergy take assembly once a week.
Although we are in the heart of Camborne, our school buildings are situated in private secluded grounds surrounded by trees. We have a large field and a wooded adventure playground which we use as often as possible. We strongly believe that outside play and exploration is vital to a young child’s all round development.
We live out our Vision of 'God Believes, We Believe, I Believe!' (supported by The Parable of the Talents) through our academy motto ‘Believe You Can’, our mission statement, 'Through enjoyable, memorable learning, supported by our core Christian Values and high expectations, we can aspire to make educated choices in order to flourish to live a rich and fulfilled life' and our core Christian Values - 'Faith, Love, Respect, Perseverance and Forgiveness'.
'for with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37)
'to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given and they will have an abundance.’ (Matthew 25:29)
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1'For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control.'
2 Timothy 1:7'Treat others just as you would want to be treated'.
Luke 6:31'Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.'
1 Peter 4:10'Whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.'
