Attendance
We teach maths, reading and writing in a structured way where each lesson builds on the previous one. If a child misses too many sessions they fall behind the rest of the group and often need extra tuition to help them catch up. It is therefore crucial that your child attends school, unless unwell, in order for them to make good progress. As a school we will do all we can to ensure maximum attendance for all children. Any problems that impede full attendance will be identified and promptly addressed. It is the policy of our school to celebrate achievement, and we actively promote and encourage 100 per cent attendance for all our pupils. If your child is ill and unable to attend school, please notify the office by 9.30am. If we do not receive notification from you, we are obliged to enter your child’s absence as unauthorised.
Complaints Procedure
If you have any complaints regarding the school please contact the Head of School or Chair of Governors, Mr Lewis Jones. Any correspondence to Mr Jones can be sent to the school and will be forwarded to her.
Please see Complaints Policy under the Policies section.
