Welcome to Chaffinch Class. In our wonderful class there are 25 children. Our teacher is Mrs Callaway and our teaching assistant is Mrs Trestrail. We always work hard and try our best with everything we do. We love investigating and learning new things.

We love running our daily mile and we have PE lessons on a Wednesday.

Homework

Reading: Children bring home two books a week; a 'book bag book' on a Monday and the Read, Write, Inc book that that they have been reading during the week on a Wednesday. These should be returned to school every Friday.

Times Table Rockstars: Children have their own login to practice their times tables at home and in school.

Spelling: Children have a spelling test every Friday. Their new spellings will be sent home to practice every Friday.

We have been using pastels to make Dinosaur eye pictures, concentrating on shading and shape.
